من شعراء مصر إلى شعراء العالم
نحن شعراء مصر، نرسل- من قلب القاهرة- صوتنا إلى كافة شعراء وشعوب العالم، دفاعًا عن حرية الإبداع، في كافة مجالاته، ومن بينها حرية الشاعر في الكتابة والنشر، بلا ضغوط أو ابتزاز، بلا قيود أو إرهاب فكري، ديني أو سياسي أو قانوني.
إن الشعراء المصريين كانوا- طوال السنوات السابقة على الثورة الشعبية المجيدة في يناير 2011- يقفون دائمًا في صف الطليعة الثقافية المعارضة للقمع والفساد وتقييد الحريات.. وهم الآن، ما يزالون متمسكين بنفس الموقف إزاء النظام الجديد الذي نشأ مؤخرًا بالبلاد، ويتخذ نفس النهج الذي كان يعتمده النظام القديم الذي ثار عليه الشعب المصري، مضيفًا إليه استخدام الذرائع ذات الطابع الديني في مواجهة المبدعين.
وإن تواصلنا مع الحركة الشعرية العالمية في هذا اليوم يكسر طوق العزلة، ويوصل الصوت الشعري المصري خارج الأفق المحلي، وخاصةً فيما يتعلق بالظروف الخاصة التي يمر بها الإبداع في مصر والتهديدات الجدية- من أطراف مختلفة- التي تواجهه..
فيما نعلن أن الشعراء المصريين كانوا دائمًا- ولا يزالون إلى الآن- يعتبرون ثقافات الآخرين ميراثًا مشتركًا للجميع، بقدر ما كانت الثقافة المصرية- في عصور ازدهارها، عصر “فجر الضمير”- ميراثًا مشتركًا للعالم أجمع؛ ضد أية نزعات عنصرية من أي نوع، تأتي من الخارج أو الداخل.
إننا نأمل أن تساهم هذه الفعالية في دعم مكانة الشعر في الثقافة المصرية، وفتح خطوط تواصل مع المتلقي العادي، خارج الدائرة المعتادة من جمهور الشعر، وإضاءة الوعي والذوق العامين لمواجهة خفافيش الظلام والتطرف التي توصد الأفق المصري في الآونة الأخيرة..
فلترتفع أصواتنا وقصائدنا عاليةً بلا خوف أو تردد، كما كانت دائمًا، وكما ستظل دائمًا؛ ولنتشبث بحلمنا في مصر جديدة تليق بنا، بميراثنا الرفيع، وبالمستقبل الذي نتمناه لكل مصري عاش ويعيش على هذه الأرض. فالشعر هو الذي يضيء الطريق في هذه الظلمات الكالحة.
Des poètes Égyptiens … aux poètes du monde
Nous, les poètes égyptiens, adressons, du Caire, à tous les poètes et les peuples du monde, ce message pour défendre la liberté de la créativité dans tous les domaines, dont la liberté du poète d’écrire et de publier ce qu’il veut, sans pression, sans marchandage, sans obstacle et sans pression que ce soit religieuse, politique ou juridique.
Au cours des années précédant la glorieuse révolution de 25 janvier 2011, les poètes égyptiens ont été aux premiers rangs de l’avant-garde intellectuelle qui s’opposait à l’oppression, à la corruption et à la restriction des libertés. Et aujourd’hui, ils continuent d’adopter cette attitude envers le nouveau régime, qui a récemment pris les rennes du pays, et qui suit la même politique appliquée par l’ex-régime contre qui le peuple égyptien s’est révolté. Ce nouveau régime utilise la religion pour souffler le chaud et le froid en ce qui concerne la liberté des artistes.
Contacter le mouvement poétique mondial aujourd’hui, nous permet de briser l’isolation et fait parvenir la voix poétique égyptienne au-delà de nos horizons proches, notamment en ce qui concerne les obstacles dont est victime la créativité en Égypte et les menaces “sérieuses” qu’elle subit de toute part.
Nous, les poètes Égyptiens, considérons que les autres cultures sont un “héritage” commun pour tout le monde, comme l’était la culture égyptienne pour le monde entier dans sa période de prospérité, face à toute sorte de racisme.
Nous espérons que notre démarche va protéger et renforcer la poésie dans la culture égyptienne et va nous aider à entrer en contact avec les simples citoyens, hors du cercle des poètes. Nous souhaitons également qu’elle sensibilise l’opinion publique quant aux extrémistes qui assombrissent, dernièrement, l’horizon égyptien.
Haussons les voix sans peur ou hésitation aucune, comme cela a toujours été le cas. Attachons-nous à notre rêve d’une nouvelle Egypte que nous méritons grâce à notre héritage glorieux. Attachons-nous à un meilleur avenir pour tout Égyptien vivant sur ce territoire. C’est la poésie qui allume notre route très obscure.
From Egyptian Poets to the Poets of the World
From the heart of Cairo, We the Egyptian Poets send our voices to all poets and people of the world, In defending of the freedom of creation in all fields, including the freedom of the poet to write and publish, without any pressure or exaction, without any restrictions or terror ideologically, religiously, politically, and legally.
Over the many years before the great people’s revolution in January 2011, The Egyptian Poets had been always in the front of the cultural avant-garde that oppose the suppression and corruption and restriction on freedoms … and now they are still standing foe the same viewpoint in front of the new regime recently raised to the power, the regime that follow the same old ways of the defeated old one, but also adding to these ways a religious touch against the artists and intellectuals.
We see communication with the international poetic movement of today as an attempt to break the isolation, and deliver the Egyptian poetic voice out of the local sphere, particularly what concerning the new special circumstances and the real threats that we face in Egypt today.
The Egyptian poets always have considered the cultures of the others a common human heritage as much as the Egyptian Culture, in its climax of the ” Dawn of Conscience” era, and we are still against every kind of racism tendencies, whether it comes from outside or from within.
We hope that this event can contribute in supporting the poetry position in the Egyptian culture, and in opening communicating canals with regular recipients, outside the usual circles of the poetry audience, and in lighting the public taste and sensibility, in order to face the creatures of dark and extreme that block our horizon recently here in Egypt.
Let our voices and our poems raise high with no fear of hesitation, as it were before, and as it will be evermore. And let’s hold our dream of a new Egypt that as so great as our people and our traditions and also the future we wish to every person on this land. In these dark moments there is no special and lasting candle like poetry.

Ultimately it is the chorus of voices, often in translation as you see above, that reminds us simply how vast our numbers are — and how powerful our shared intention.
